Earth, Wind and Fire is a pop/r&b American hit making sensation that spanned several decades. It featured the lead vocals of Maurice White and Philip Bailey, the bass playing of Verdine White and the drumming of Fred White. Maurice White remained the lead vocalist and producer up until 1994 when stricken with Parkinson's disease. The band had other notable members including keyboardist and guitarists plus a horn section but the 4 most prominent members were Philip Bailey, Maurice White, Verdine White and Fred White who helped the band to earn 6 Grammy Awards and 4 American Music Awards and many other accolades. They sold 90 million albums worldwide and are ranked by VH1 as 60th of the top 100 greatest rock and roll artists of all time. Considered to be the most innovative and progressive funk/pop/jazz band of their time. It turns out that Verdine White shared a super success linkage with Maurice White, his brother. Philip Bailey also shared a super success linkage with  Maurice White and Fred White also shared a super success linkage with his brother Maurice White.
